About Us

Mother Mary Vocational Institute was founded by Sister Maria Nabakoba under St. James Catholic Church of Uganda in 2010 to train, promote and empower wellbeing of young women with specific emphasis on Christianity Education & Vocational Training, Literacy empowerment, Child protection, Health, Enhancement of gender equality and girl child support, developing leadership and talents among young people. Because i have passion to care for those in need. To re-integrate orphans ,school dropouts ,Girls from streets back to school by encouraging and sponsoring them through providing educational needs and requirements and shelter that have always been hindering majority of them from being at school and attaining education.

The Institute Bursar is the manager of all financial transactions and tuition fees payments in the Institute. He holds the Master of Business Administration(MBA) in Finance and Accounting from Makerere University Business School.The bursar is the only person responsible to receive payments either by cash,cheque or other methods of payments from any body. His in charge of wages payroll and salaries. All Tuition Fees Payments by the students are all handled by this office. The Bursar accepts payments in cash and remember to get the official Seal/stamp of the Bursar.
